SHINE Whips up Main Titles for The Studio & Dying for Sex
Couple of fantastic new projects from the design maestros at SHINE - main titles + logos for the Seth Rogen-led AppleTV+ series The Studio & a series of custom episode main titles for FX/Hulu’s new show, Dying for Sex, featuring Michelle Williams.
Shine designed and animated the main title logo, a simple typographic main title sequence, additional typography and graphics as well as a vintage Point Grey logo.
Critics are praising The Studio on Apple TV+ as a sharp, fast-paced satire of Hollywood. Seth Rogen’s performance as a frazzled movie executive stands out, with many calling the series both absurdly funny and smartly written. Episode 2 has been singled out as one of the best TV episodes of 2025 so far - 95% on Rotten Tomatoes!
The Point Grey logo was re-imagined to look as if it were created on a standard Oxbury animation stand by film title lettering artists in the 1940s

Shine designed, shot, edited and composited 8 unique short main title treatments for “Dying for Sex”, a new show on FX, Hulu and Disney+. Each episode has a unique short main title logo treatment which incorporates a comedic live action scenario, organically edited into the episode to punctuate the scene.
“Dying for Sex” is an FX on Hulu miniseries created by Elizabeth Meriwther and Kim Rosenstock, based on the true story and 2020 Wondry podcast. Critics love this amazing new show. 96% Tomatometer!
